Many other forms of contraception are appropriate for breastfeeding women. So, if you would like to take birth control pills while breastfeeding, ask your ob-gyne or your healthcare provider which pills suits you best. |

I agree with you Lizzie, breastfeeding mom should not take oral contraceptives with estrogen and progestin because these hormones may decrease the production and quality of breast milk. |

in addition to that, i don't think you still need to to take pills as you have mentioned earlier that you are still breastfeeding your baby, because breastfeeding is another form of preventing another pregnancy. |

if you weren't using BCP and you weren't breastfeeding then it is possible for you to get pregnant.have it check |

not all pregnant woman would experienced pregnancy symptoms and pregnancy test isn't accurate. it would be better if you consult your gyne about this. |
