Ligation...is it really effective?
black_aida

I'm 30 yrs old and I have four kids and i feel tired of giving birth. It came to my mind that i want to be ligated for me to be safe from being pregnant. But, i'm really not sure if its really 100% effective.Do you have some idea about ligation?please?

Hot mama

hi black_aida!!you must be absolutely certain that you do not want to have any children in the future.you're still young to decide on being ligated.

$hy

i have a suggestion for you black_aida...if you really want to stop giving birth, better tell your husband about vasectomy..Vasectomy, the sterilization
procedure for men, is a permanent method of birth control. It is a safer procedure that causes fewer complications than tubal ligation in women.

liezylicious

I DON'T THINK black_aida's husband will say yes to vasectomy.I'm 100% sure.

Hello girls...i have some information to share about TUBAL LIGATION. It is a permanent form of female sterilization, in which the fallopian tubes are cut or tied in order to prevent fertilization. It is approximately 99% effective in the first year. In the following years the effectiveness may be reduced slightly since the fallopian tubes can, in some cases, reform or reconnect which can cause unwanted pregnancy.

CLOUD 9

black_aida my experienced will answer your question with regards to the effectiveness of tubal ligation. When i was 30 yrs old, I was ligated in time of my cesarean delivery because of hypertension, the enlargement of my heart and pre-eclampsia.Right now, i am 33 with 2 kids, ENJOYING SEX BUT NOT GETTING PREGNANT at all.I must say that its effective!!

Alyssa

OOOPPSS!Ms CLOUD 9.DONT BE TOO CONFIDENT.COZ THE ONLY 100% EFFECTIVE STERILIZATION SURGERIES ARE MALE CASTRATION (removal of the testicles) and FEMALE CASTRATION (removal of the ovaries) BUT THESE ARE NOT PERFORMED FOR BIRTH CONTROL purposes.jst still be careful and watchful.

Virginia Pie

Tubal ligation is just 99% effective, meaning, theres still a chance that you will get pregnant, and worst, if you get pregnant there's a higher risk of ectopic pregnancy.and that's a very big problem.think of it several times.gud luck.

Gw¥NetH

If i were you Black_aida, i would choose a permanent birth control that is painless.Based on my experienced, tubal ligation is so painful and it take many weeks to recover from my surgery.I think there's already a permanent birth control that will not undergo surgery.ask for it.ü

EMERALD UY

I CAN SAY THAT ITS EFFECTIVE BECAUSE OF 3YRS NOW FROM HAVING TUBAL LIGATION, WITH REGULAR SEX SINCE THEN, UNTIL NOW IM NOT GETTING PREGNANT.

cheskie

ligation did worked for you emerald! but i say... it doesn't work for everyone. my friend had this procedure just about a year ago... and found out just last month, she had ectopic pregnancy... see what i mean?

ashley

oh no! really cheskie? i think there must be explanation to this...

cheskie

that is true ashley! that's why personally, i won't recommend it!

samantha

how in the world can someone become pregnant after tubal ligation?if they actually cut and tie the tubes, how does an egg get through?it's way too impossible!

meldz_60

i agree!it's my first time to hear this.any more explanations?

scarlat

i agree but this isn't impossible because i have witnessed someone who gets pregnant after tubal ligation.in, short, i agree with both sides.

Virginia Pie

The explanation to that ashley is that sometimes a tract develops that allows egg and sperm to meet causing a woman to get pregnant.
