is ESSURE procedure similar to mirena coil being fitted? what's the most convenient between this two methods? |

liz, essure and merina coil is similar in a sense that it is being fitted but the difference is that essure is permanent while merina will be changed. And for me the most convenient is essure.the pain is only one time. |

megan, the very risk of essure is that the coil may not be properly inserted and it may expelled from the uterus.then the doctor will repeat the procedure.its kinda painful. |

Another thing megan, there's a tendency that you will get pregnant if this procedure fails. And worst, it can lead to ectopic pregnancy which is life threatening. |

It sounds so scarry but it really happens. So you better choose a tested and very reliable doctor to avoid failure of that procedure. |

failure of the procedure is inevitable that's what makes this method inconvenient. so i think, ESSURE is the best option. |

there is a little chance on failure of procedure but doctors are aware of that. so i don't think there is reason to worry about. |
