it's good to start on a new pack/brand after your period on the old brand. i have tried it and it was my doctor's advice.

no better answer than doctors adviced. there may be some questions that a doctor needs to ask you before he/she can prescribed you with BCP.

it's better if you used pills which the doctor prescribed you. do not use pills which your friend uses because it may not be effective for you.

i absolutely agree with that statement! just because it works well with a friend doesnt mean it will also work well on you. even if it was doctors prescribed you never still be assured to be effective.

The only advice i can give really is to get off the yasmin pill, i know that th pill effects everyone in different ways but i just wanted to warn those of you who maybe getting the same side effects that i had, i was taking yasmin for 3 months, when in the third month i realised that things werent right with me, i started to get:
-Panic attacks
-Irrational thoughts
-Paranoia
-Mild depression
-loss in appetite
-not enjoying anything that i normally would
-crying for no reason

when i went to see my doctor he offered me anit
depressents, im 18 years old and have nothing wrong in my life what so ever so how can what i was going through be depression!! thats when i thought the only thing that was different in my life was the pill and i read the side effects of the yasmin pill and saw how it had effected some other people! i am still trying to get over the feeling of how the pill has made me feel and i would never advise any girl to take this pill as i still dont know if i will go back to the way i was before i started taking it!!!!
