"morning after pill"
Gloria C.

This is my first time to hear about "morning after pill". Is this effective and is it safe to use?

Grace Edge

Effectivity ? Well, the 'morning-after pill' is not 100 % effective but the failure rate is not that high as well. Probably around 10 %, and rather better than that if you take it as early as possible.

Candy Girl

The morning-after pill stops you from becoming pregnant if contraception failed or wasn't used.Lots of people talk about the 'morning-after pill. The earlier you take it, the better: the 'morning-after pill' works best if taken within 12 hours of unprotected sex.

Denise

Gloria, in Britain and many western countries morning after pill is regarded as an emergency contraceptive, not an abortion-causing drug and this will not work if you are already pregnant.

Jackie Lee

morning-after pill is very useful especially during those times when the condoms used break during the sex.

Keisha

Morning – after pill is safe to use. Don’t believe if someone tells you that it has lots of side-effects or makes you really sick.

La-La

The morning-after pill is not good at protecting against ectopic pregnancies, although these are rare. So, if in case you get lower tummy pain or abnormal bleeding in the weeks after using it, better see your doctor.

Donita

Interesting, thanks for the info guys. any more inputs? please keep coming.

Dr. Dee

Hey Gloria, morning-after pills are generally considered safe, but many women are unaware that they actually exist.

Wee-Wee

The morning-after pill is designed to be taken within 72 hours of intercourse with a second dose taken 12 hours later. Plan B One-Step works with one dose. This is proven to be effective.

Safety? Yes it is safe but like any other pill it has side effects which includes nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, dizziness, menstrual changes and headache.

Malena

If this is your first time to hear about morning pill, this is an emergency pill taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex to avoid pregnancy. Therefore this is not similar with the abortion pill which is taken to terminate the pregnancy.

Dr. Dee

There are some women who are not advice to take the morning after pill. Those women with severe liver disease and with a very rare condition called porphyria. But for nearly everyone, Levonelle is fine and most unlikely to cause any significant problems.

Sweetie Pie

I was able to use Levonelle for several times now and so far, this pill works good on me and feels no side effects at all.

Mahja

Sweetie pie, different pill has actually different effect to different people. Do not assume that this Levonelle works good on you will also work good for others too.

Erich

For safety purposes,it is best to see your health care provider then before taking any other pills .

tOnie

morning-after-pill is best during unprotected sex. don't worry about side-effects because it won't cause you harm.
