after finally finding out this week that i have pcos. i looked in2 trying to sort myself out best i can ive been put on metformin but thought weight loss is a good idea as i have hit over 18 stone and dislocated my knee so 2 reason 2 get moving well when the knee better but cant find alot of info on dieting with pcos all it says is a gi? any ideas?

I know this is a little late, Before I fell pregnant with my son, I lost weight using weight watchers, the key is to be sensible, stick to your five a day, make sure you each plenty of fibre Soluable as well as Wholegrain and drink plenty of water instead of tea or coffee or fruit juice, your body will react and even though the first week is hell by the second week you will notice some changes. I felt more encourage by measuring my inner leg, upper arm, stomach, hips and chest each week instead of weighing each week, you receive better encouragement that way
