well, not all of them can protect sexually transmitted disease infection. birth control pills and some other type, intraurine devices, injectables and the tubal ligation won't protect the person from having HIV or other STD.

according to the study, only the male condom that is made of latex, can and proven to help protect individual using it from HIV and STDs.

really, so how about those men who are allergic with latex, what can they do for that?

arlene - November 27th, 2009 11:56 AM

if it happens that the guy is allergic to latex, he can use a condom that is made of polyurethane. when using condoms, one should use an oil-based products like baby oil, petroleum jelly, massage oils or lotions to lubricate the condom because the condom may weaken and it will cause it to break.
