Hello there!

I am a mother of three and my youngest just turned three last month when I also had a miscarriage. I was at 6 weeks and it was a natural mc. I really don't know the reason but my DR states it may be because of some chromosomal complications. I just had my cycle and is ttc again. Can you share natural ways to do it after a mc? Thanks for your help.

IT THINK IN YOUR CASE YOU CAN TTC IN A NORMAL WAY. WAIT UNTIL YOU OVULATE THEN GIVE IT A SHOT. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks MOELA, yeah I've read from another thread that after a regular period I can ttc again. I'll give it a try as soon as I ovulate.

hello! just would like to ask what is ttc? sorry i'm new in this board and not familiar with some of the terms here.

i also had a miscarriage last month (first pregnancy) like xpressbaby and i am ready for another try. i am kind of traumatized by the loss and can't afford to miscarry again.

TTC - trying to conceive.

You can TTC as soon as you want because you just had a natural miscarriage and haven't gone any d&c.

Xpressbaby - September 27th, 2009 11:58 PM

Oh thanks Lydia that is very helpful. I'll wait until I am fertile to ttc.

bluesclues-Sorry for the loss, take your time first to recover because if you are still having the fear it might affect your pregnancy. Good Luck!

thanks lydia for the ttc meaning. hehe... haven't thought of such meaning, i was thinking it was a sort of procedure after a miscarriage. anyway, thanks xpressbaby for your comfort and i'm really scared of experiencing another loss, not very desirable for a first timer like me.

Sometimes you also need to consider the emotional aspect of both partners. There are those who are not yet ready emotionally although they can ttc right away.

bluesclues - September 30th, 2009 7:01 PM

i agree with stella. both partners should be ready but problem is how should we mothers tell our husband that i need more time to get over the loss first.

I am just curious why there are mothers who gets over easily and get pregnant right away? Does it mean that they are not that affected by the loss?

DearMom - October 4th, 2009 6:47 PM

ANGELA16- I DON'T THINK THEY ARE NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE LOSS, MAYBE THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO MOVE ON AND THE STAGE OF ACCEPTANCE HAS AN EASY WAY FOR THEM.

TTC IS SOMETIMES A DIFFICULT STAGE OR DECISION TO MAKE LIKE BLUESCLUES WHO EXPERIENCED PREGNANCY FIRST TIME THEN MISCARRIED, SO IT IS REALLY TRAUMATIC IN A WAY. IN MY OPINION, TAKE YOUR TIME FIRST AND GO WHEN YOU ARE REALLY READY.

Hello everyone. I think you should take some test first to know if you are ready to get pregnant again. It will help us in any way to get that assurance of having a full term pregnancy.

Xpressbaby - October 4th, 2009 10:41 PM

Thanks for all the posts. I agree with all of your points. I should consider all of it. As of the moment I am still waiting for my ovulation and I am ready to conceive now.
