My friend has hormonal imbalance and I pity her because she badly wants to have a baby. She consulted an obgyn and it will take long before she can have a healthy pregnancy. There are times when she thought she was pregnant but after a few days or even weeks of being delayed she will menstruate.

Halina_88 - December 16th, 2009 10:01 AM

That is a common problem and it is difficult to attain a fast result because it will take some tests in order to determine the main cause of the problem.

Fishlette - December 16th, 2009 10:04 AM

Yes that's right Halina_88. That is why I don't know how to comfort her because I know the situation is really hard to understand.

That is sad and we have the same situation. I am also in the process of preparing myself and the problem with me is the difficulty to ovulate. I need vitamins to force it to ovulate. What is her status?

Fishlette - December 16th, 2009 10:16 AM

She is still having some tests and also taking vitamins. The doctors says it will be a long process.

Amanda - December 16th, 2009 10:23 AM

That's good at least she is being told the truth and she is in the process of preparing. Good Luck to both of us.

For how long have you been trying Amanda?

Amanda - December 16th, 2009 10:39 AM

It has been a while, since marriage, we've been trying for 4 years now.

Fishlette - December 16th, 2009 10:44 AM

Wow, that's been really long. But have you experienced being pregnant then miscarried?

Brightcurve - December 16th, 2009 5:30 PM

Hormonal imbalance can result to abnormal pregnancies, some of mothers having this disorder experienced having ectopic pregnancy.

Imhere - December 16th, 2009 5:35 PM

I do think I am suffering from hormonal imbalance too. When taking those vitamins for force ovulation, is there a guarantee to have a successful pregnancy?

Brightcurve - December 16th, 2009 5:40 PM

No there is no guarantee at all. Some mothers may have difficulty in conceiving and once conceived it is still a continuous battle to save the baby.

Imhere - December 16th, 2009 5:43 PM

Well, every pregnancy is risky. There is really no assurance at all even if the medicines are very expensive.

Brightcurve - December 16th, 2009 5:54 PM

Exactly, so we all make the sacrifices and just be ready to accept the result.

Trina^^ - December 16th, 2009 9:56 PM

Can this be corrected? Is it possible that we can pass it to our children?

Amanda - December 16th, 2009 10:53 PM

Wow, that's been really long. But have you experienced being pregnant then miscarried?

Yes, I've had one miscarriage and hopefully be the last.

HOPE - December 16th, 2009 10:56 PM

I DON'T THINK THIS IS HEREDITARY. THIS CAN BE CORRECTED WITH SOME MEDICATIONS AND PROCEDURE THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE.
