WHEN THERE IS A DELAY IN YOUR MENSTRUATION, IS IT SAFE TO ASSUME THAT YOU HAD A CHEMICAL PREGNANCY AND MISCARRIED SUCH?

Imhere - December 1st, 2009 10:55 AM

It has a big possibility for those whose menstrual cycle is very regular. Maybe very blurred for those who have an irregular cycle.

WELL YOU HAVE A POINT IMHERE. HOW ABOUT OTHERS WHO HAVE NO IDEA OF SUCH POSSIBILITY, DO YOU THINK THEY HAVE THE RISK OF RETAINED CLOTS INSIDE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN NEEDED TO REMOVE VIA D&C?

This is interesting. If this is the case then it is advisable to consult an OB to check if it was indeed a miscarriage.

what i know about chemical pregnancy is that it is a false pregnancy. there is no life really so even if you only experienced a natural miscarriage then there is no harm for the mother and does not need any procedure like d&c.

Is that so? By the term chemical I assume it is not a true pregnancy. What are the causes of this? Is it possible to develop into a valid pregnancy if not miscarried?

Haileelee - December 1st, 2009 7:16 PM

If this is true then I think I've had several miscarriages already. I am always having delays in my cycle after I got married.

I'VE READ THAT CHEMICAL PREGNANCY HAS A FERTILIZED EGG BUT WAS NOT IMPLANTED PROPERLY.

Halina_88 - December 2nd, 2009 8:18 AM

That's right Vanessa. It is a valid pregnancy but there is just a problem with the implantation.

OH I SEE. THANKS FOR CLEARING IT UP. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A CHECK UP TO AVOID COMPLICATIONS.
