Hello peeps, my aunt had recurrent mc (3 mc in a row) for 7 months and I wonder what risks she may be facing? How many mc the most will it be? When can we stop trying?

I think it will depend on the kind of miscarriage the women is having. Although recurrent miscarriage (3 in a row) is alarming and needs a break first.

I don't think there is a limit to how many mc. I mean there is not specific number of mc that a women can have, it will depend on the mother's condition. With regards to your aunt, she will have a higher probability of having a mc for future pregnancies.

Maybe when it gets too risky. One thing if the mother is not capable at all of getting a full term pregnancy.

No such thing. I haven't heard of how many miscarriage a woman can only have. This is interesting though. I will try to research about this and will share it to you.

Thanks for all your posts. I still think there is a limit. Like some general medical ruling or guideline in handling miscarriage.

I think there is such thing but it is not applicable in general. It is a case to case basis. You can focus on one woman's condition and from there maybe you'll know her limitations on having miscarriage.

Is there a limit to having a miscarriage? I tried to research about it and I'm not satisfied with the results.
