Termination is for various reasons, all of them valid. Lawfully, a woman can not have a termination without two doctors agreement that it would be more harmful for the mother to continue with the pregancy than to not do so. Comments such as

Abortion or termination with consent due to unwanted pregnancies is the most common reason. I just can't imagine why they do that and how can they sleep at time with what they did.
are not helpful, nor are they supportive on a forum which is meant to support women. Whether a woman has a termination due to the foetus dying or because it would be harmful to her mental or physical health if she continued does not need to be justified here.
ALL women who have terminations do so having thought about it for weeks, sometimes months on end. They will have considered every other possible solution there is and more often than not will regret their decision. I am not disputing that termination of a baby's life is ultimately killing someone. I am also in agreement that if termination is used mearly as a form of contaception through lack of thought at the time of conception, that is also very wrong. However, when a woman, young teenager or underage girl goes to see the doctor, they will be asked thorough and personal questions in order for the doctors to satisfy themselves that termination is the only option. Doctors are not in the business of ending lives, they try to save them and make them better for people. Doctors do not make these decisions lightly, nor do the women having terminations. It is difficult to deal with and simply saying, what about adoption, is in somecases, unfotunately not a valid argument.
