As mothers who are willing to take the responsibility of having a baby would do anything for the baby. Pregnancy loss is the greatest fear of a mother. So share here all the possible ways of preventing pregnancy loss.

Fishlette - August 26th, 2009 3:48 AM

The most common reason for the pregnancy loss is the lack of rest or stress. So to prevent it you need to really have enough rest and take some vitamins and do some necessary exercises to have a healthy pregnancy.

Before planning of getting pregnant you should be sure that you are in the perfect condition. You and your body is emotionally and physically ready. It will really be a good way to prevent a possible pregnancy loss.

Just be physically and emotionally stable during the pregnancy. Don't worry a lot, have a positive outlook. Just be happy and relax.

I make sure I have enough rest and proper eating habits. I don't over eat and over sleep. I make sure I have a regular check up and I always follow my gyne's instructions.

Be a responsible mother and follow your OB's instructions. Learn how to sacrifice your desires or cravings for the baby's health.

From my experience maybe I need to be more sensitive of my baby's needs. I should lessen worries and stop pressuring myself about it. Just let it be and trust everything to God.

There are a lot of ways to prevent it but if the cause of the miscarriage is more on the chromosomal abnormalities or other natural causes that can't be controlled then there is no use for prevention.

GeraldineFitcher - September 9th, 2009 10:13 PM

kaireen- Yes there is not much we can do to prevent chromosomal abnormality but if we can strive to be as healthy as we can be before conceiving then it may help in some way.

DearMom - September 14th, 2009 9:37 AM

I THINK MARNIE HAS MENTIONED THE BASIC THINGS THAT WE SHOULD DO TO PREVENT MISCARRIAGE. I THINK EVERY MOTHER WILL REALLY BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PREGNANT BUT WHAT IF THERE ARE INSTANCES THAT IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL?

MarieLD - September 14th, 2009 10:14 PM

Good points here.I will take note of all these because I am preparing myself to have a baby after two years. Thanks for the info.

Imhere - September 27th, 2009 11:33 PM

Like in my case I don't know I've had several miscarriages and I only knew of it when I consulted about my difficulty of getting pregnant. There are some menstrual flow that I did not know that it was already a miscarriage. I don't know how to prevent it. Anyone who has the same situation as mine?

WinonaBlues - September 29th, 2009 11:12 AM

Thanks for all your views, I'm sure it will help a lot to our fellow mothers and fathers.

Imhere- Hi, it think you need to know first the reason for you miscarriage before we could look for ways to prevent it. I'm sure there is a remedy for that.

MOELA - September 30th, 2009 4:30 AM

WELL AVOID OVER EATING. YOU WILL REGRET IT, JUST HAVE A BALANCED DIET AND STAY AS HEALTHY AS CAN BE.

LotsOfLove - September 30th, 2009 6:41 PM

It will really depend on how the mother miscarried and the complications that may have caused such. A mother should ask advice from her OB/GYNE in order to have proper prevention.

Imhere - October 2nd, 2009 9:07 PM

Actually, my OB had tried some tests in order to identify the reason of the miscarriage but it is difficult to know for I had miscarriage for unknown pregnancy.
