I have genital herpes and my boyfriend and I decided to not use protection anymore. We both know what can happen, sometime along the way he can contract the virus and get it. He is okay if he gets it or not. My question is, I have hsv II, I dont have one. Can I still go down on my boyfriend and be okay or if he goes down on me? Is there a possibility that I can get one if I have 2? I dont know..

On some cases, outbreak must be present to transmit the virus

I know that sores or an outbreak have to be present to spread the virus and all. I just need to know what can happen in a situation like this or just any advice in general about this situation

You don't have to have sores present to transmit the virus. You can be asymptomatic.

I don't think it's ok for your partner to perform oral sex on you because you don't know when you are shedding but I heard if you go on medication will lower the risk.
