Let's say a kid gets born and his father inject him with HIV(was in the news recently). He begins to grow up and throughout high school his romantic relationships end shortly after they hear he is HIV POSITIVE. Now let's also say, this kid is a very friendly guy, people find him enjoyable, he jokes a lot, but his only flaw is something he can't control(his aids). How would this affect the sexual aspect of their life? Would there be someone out there that could look through his disease? Is he destined to die alone?

HIV and AIDS are different things. I don't think he would survive high school with actual AIDS. People can live very normal lives with HIV, and some times it doesn't cause AIDS.

There are some open minded people out there who would accept others for having HIV. I personally would not date someone with AIDS because once you get AIDS you die pretty soon after.

Even if there are no partners that accept his status, there are other positive people who will, and lots of websites for people who are positive who can find someone in the same position.

Wow. That deeps. If I were him I dont think I would feel comfortable exposing someone to aids in the event that the condom broke.

What I would do is join a support group for teens or young men and women living with aids. I would find a lover and friend there. I would not jump at the first person available but I think I could get a little more care and compassion from a person who shares my concerns and diagnosis.
