Can an STI give symptoms and not show positive on tests yet? I had myself tested on the 3rd week but symptoms started showing up at the 2nd week after sex. All tests came back negative.I dunno if it is just trauma due to rough sex, but am worried.

If I understand you correctly the answer is yes. Of course you can start getting symptoms before the tests show positive results.

Sometimes testing doesn't show an accurate positive for weeks. Longer in cases of H.I.V in which average is 10 years till it blooms to AIDS.
