Hi, ive just been diagnosed with genital herpes, and im absolutely devastated, i cry alot about it, ive not told anybody, i darnt, im in my mid 20's and single and cant find myself ever being able to have a partner, i just can't quite believe ive let this happen to me. I guess i just need some friendly advise to help me cope.

Hi, I'm 23 and was diagnosed in 2008 just before I turned 21, I thought the same, my life was over and I would never find a partner but I've been in 2 short relationships and was terrified when I told both of them but they were the complete opposite to how I thought they would be, understanding and didn't let it bother them. My last re-occurrence was within the past 6 months but they are becoming a lot less regular.
