I am in a relationship for almost 9 years with clear paps. All of a sudden I had two bad paps with surgery. Diagnosed with high risk HPV. Could he have had this when we met or has he acquired it and infected me with it since I had no other partner.

Oh this one is so hard. 9 years is a long time for hpv, but I've come to find out that anything is possible.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but incubation for HPV can be a few months, to years.

If you wouldn't have suspected him of cheating without this, this isn't enough to prove it.

If you had chlamydia, I'd be saying "yes, absolutely!" but HPV is trickier.

all my paps be normal except for the last 2 and that has been over the last 10 months or so. well i have had questions about his infedility given the way hes has acted over the last year or so. i just dont see how he could of given it to me 9 years ago

oh did I also say I was married to my last husband 10 years befor this one.. no sex with anyone just those 2

I wish I could give you some definitive answers that would clearly say "yes, he cheated" or "no, he didn't", but I can't say that. I'm so sorry you are going through this, and its not a decision anyone can make for you.
