My hubby has a red spot on his testicles it looks like a blood blister and he told me that it is painful what is this?

It sounds like symptoms of herpes but I am doctor or there first hand but that is what herpes outbreaks look like.

Oblivion is right. It definitely sounds like herpes. Go get that blister swabbed so you can find out..

Difficult to say without examination. "Blood blisters" can be a result of petechiae which are red spots that result from escape of the blood from the vessels into the surrounding skin.
