if you think you're experiencing the symptoms that has been mentioned above, contact your doctor for immediate treatment. it's better to be always safe.

you must use tampons for a minimum of 8 hours and not more. have a tampon break and use pad afterwards

to avoid TSS completely, avoid using tampons at all.although not all may experience TSS but who knows? no one can ever tell!!!

the chances of developing TSS is very rare. if you just follow instructions on the box of tampons, you should not worry about TSS.

hi everyone! i have a friend who is sexually active. she's been having sex even if she has her period. to avoid mess, she's been using tampons while having sex and to avoid pregnancy as well. is she at risk for TSS?

i knew someone who's doing this too. she's been using sponges or soft tampons. i wonder how it prevents pregnancy.

toxic shock syndrome is a very rare illness, but it can be fatal. so i adviced not to use it while having sex at the same time. very dangerous.

i've heard the same story many times. they all have the same advice so i think you should follow this.
