Hi there,
I'm considering getting an IUS Mirena, as the last pill I was on made me put on so much weight (even though I eat healthily and exercise regularly), has anyone found they put on weight with the Mirena?

Also are there (to put it delicately) any issues when being intimate with your partner? Can it be felt by your partner? I also tried the Nuva ring and it did not work out!

Any experiences that can be shared will be most appreciated.

My husband was quite surprised to feel the strings on the coil during intercourse. He explains it like an electric shock. I've only just had it fitted a few weeks and he said it doesn't bother him. I'm doing really well on this and I have finished with my baby making days as I have 5 young children so he'll cope lol.
