Mirena Coil and antiphospholipid syndrome

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to find out more information regarding the risks and benefits of having a mirena coil. I have a history of blood clots (DVTs and PEs) and was diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome (Hughes syndrome) and am now on warfarin for life. The last year my periods have been getting heavier and heavier to the point where I was anaemic last month. I have 2 fibroids one quite large at 8cm and the other smaller at 4cm. The mirena coil has been suggested as a possible treatment but there seems to be different opinions as to whether the progesterone in the coil increases my risk of getting more blood clots. What type of surgery is possible? I am awaiting my next gynae appointment but trying to educate myself on possibilities and risks in advance so any insights would be very welcome.
