i never had fertility issues ever since. in fact i have 3 kids now. my period is regular and i am living a healthy lifestyle. when i turned 36 years old, i refrain from using any forms of birth control pills. it's been like 2 years now and i just wonder why i haven't got pregnant given that i am still sexually active. does birth control pills causes infertility?

in most cases yes most especially if you were taking it for a long time.however, the levels of fertility still depends on many things and not just on contraceptives.

Yes, if you are taking for long time. But why are you taking tension. You already have 3 kids. I think 3 kids are enough. Don't mind please.

no it does not. studies shows that woman taking pill for an average of 6-12 years can possibly get pregnant in a month after off pills.

i don't think so but there's a big possibility though.why not consider lifestyle or age, maybe it has something to do with it..

Ohhh for sure it does!!! In me it let to something called anovulation! My doctor confirmed that it caused me to have an early miscarriage and then a year later when I still had not ovulated but had been getting regular cycles, that that was because of the pill too. I brought in my Lady-Comp, which is a fertility monitor, to show my GP the charts and she said it can take 2 years for your body to recover from the pill! Luckily for me the first time I ovulated I got pregnant. I would suggest you track your cycles using basal body temperature (not OPKs) and see if you are ovulating as that would be my guess for you. Would love to chat more if you want!
