hi zen, welcome to the forum site of menopause! well about your question i can't be so sure but as i heard from a friend, taking low dose birth control pills is okay up until the age of 40. let's hear from others, maybe someone here can answer your question.

as long as you are not definitely post menopause then you can still continue on the pills. staying on the low dose pill is a valid approach at least healthy women.

definitely yes, you can still take those pills. as long as you still have menstrual cycle. because it prevents you from being pregnant.

the choices is yours to make whether you continue on taking pills or not.as long as you still have your period then you are still able to take them.but you still need to talk to your doctor about what pills are best suited for you.

i've heard that low dose birth control pills can provide you with more estrogen compared to HRT. it is believed that you will be provided with more benefits.

definitely yes, you can still take them as long as periods are still present and most especially if you're still sexually active.
