I was sterilised during a c-section 14 months ago. I have for the last month or so had lower back pain, constant nausea and have swelling in my stomach/strange feelings. My periods are regular but for the last 3 months or so have only lasted a max of 3 days (usually 5 very heavy). I recently went to the doctors as i thought i had a uti (very strong smelling urine and frequent urination) Is there a possibility i could be pregnant? If so would a home pregnancy test show this? I have tested but they show negative. Is there a point in pregnancy when the hcg hormone no longer shows on home pregnancy tests if your quite far along?

It is better you go for an ultrasound, that is the best option

I agree, no home tests, sure thing is ultrasound.

I agree with you Ajoke. Ultrasound will be the best option. Home test shows a lot of error.

I think it is better to go for the ultrasound test.

Ultrasound is your best option, some times, home test doesn't show correct results.
