First pregnancy but slow-rising HCG levels

Dear all,

This is my first time on this forum - hubby and I been ttc for 5 years now and a year and a half ago were diagnosed as "unexplained infertility". 6 months on Cloid = nothing. So had first IUI in June this year - result BFN. Then: second round of IUI in September and finally got BFP, the first ever!!!

I'm now really worried though as my hcg levels don't seem to be going up in the way they should. Had first HCG test a week ago at 4 weeks, which was fine - 102, but then a week later HCG had only gone up to 690 when it should have been over 1,000. Am now technically 5 weeks but devastated at the thought things might have gone wrong so quickly. Going back for another HCG test on Wednesday as I can't bear to wait another full week.

Does anyone else have any similar experience of similar slow rises in HCG levels and things turning out OK? Desperately need something positive to hold on to!
