What is the folic acid during pregnancy dosage to consume during pregnancy? It is being recommended to utilize 600 micrograms of folic acid. It must be taken from the conception until delivery. Chances of incomplete formation of brain or spinal cord will not occur like spina bifida in which the enclosure of spinal cord is incomplete. Anencephaly is the name of the defect which is linked with underdevelopment of the brain.

Avoid all kinds of pâté, containing vegetable pâtés, as they can contain listeria.

During pregnancy care should taken regarding diet. Some of the foods are harmful during pregnancy. Avoid excesses of vitamin A, C, and D. Raw or undercooked meats or eggs are to be avoided completely. Soft cheese is not recommended before pregnancy.

Having healthy diet is more important during pregnancy......so maintain pregnancy journal........avoid caffeine and alcohol intake, fish, cheese etc.
