Hi everyone, I have had my 5th miscarriage and only now am I being offered to go to Professor Regan at St Mary's in London but feeling rather ambivalent about it as already 43years old. Has anyone been through and please can someone tell me exactly what is involved and what test and further treatment they have gone through and if successful. Thanks a lot in advance

PrettyWoman- What is the reason for your miscarriage? I miscarried 3 times and I can feel what you are facing right now. I think the doctor knows what is best for you. I had a successful pregnancy after the 3rd mc at age 39. So hope you'll not give up.

Hi PrettyWoman, there are vitamins that most mothers take to help then in some problems of getting pregnant and also of making the baby hold until full-term. You don't need to get really worried about your age because as long as you are still menstruating you are still capable of getting pregnant.

Marnie- Hi! about what you said:

"You don't need to get really worried about your age because as long as you are still menstruating you are still capable of getting pregnant."

What is your basis about this? Don't you think it is a little risky to get pregnant at a later age?

Hi lennie. I agree that it is risky to get pregnant at a later age but what I'm saying is there is still hope to have a successful pregnancy and looking for means to achieve it is never useless. Hope you get my point.:)

Marnie- Yes I got your point. Thanks!
