durabell-Hi, I know how you feel. Hearing the heartbeat is one of the highlights in our pregnancy especially for first time moms. I think there are really cases when it is very difficult to detect the heartbeat so no need to be alarmed if everything is normal. All the best for you and your baby.

I'm excited too in experiencing on hearing the heartbeat of my baby to be. I think I will be the happiest mom at that moment.

I just had my pregnancy loss last 9/17 and had a dnc for it. I was on my 16 weeks and there was some complications on my baby's heart and was not able to make it. Very depressing indeed. It is my 3rd baby, I have 2 boys already and we were hoping that this time it will be a baby girl but instead we loss her. I am undergoing some counseling now and I hope it can help me.

I'm sorry to hear that Emmie, I hope you will recover fast and we will pray for you. I am also giving some comfort for my sis-in-law who also recently had a miscarriage.

MarieLD - September 28

Sorry for your loss emmie. If you don't mind what really is the complication with your baby's heart? What caused such?

PerryTim - September 29

My depression was associated with guilt because I feel that I am to be blamed for the miscarriage for taking bc pills for 3 years. I am not sure if the prolonged taking of the pills affected my pregnancy. In a way I really felt guilty.

durabell - September 29

Thanks Amor, I know I should not be acting so depress on this but just can't help it. I am trying to stay calm and happy for my pregnancy.

Emmie - September 30

MarieLD-Hello. It is more on the development of the heart. The baby had abnormal heart rate and did not make it. Doc also associated it with chromosomal abnormalities.

PerryTim - I don't think you have to feel guilty about the loss. Your taking of the pills may have affected your pregnancy but I sure think you have no intentions of losing your baby. Hope you feel better.

Hello moms and dads, glad to be in this board. Depression after a loss due to miscarriage is hard, big time! Right now I am depressed and scared.

MarieLD - October 2

I'm sorry for that emmie. Hope for your recovery. Same with perrytim, don't put the blame on you.

I wonder how is durabell? Hope to hear from you.

During my first miscarriage it was really depressing but after several losses it became bearable and I would sometimes feel guilty for getting used to it.

Sally - October 7

Of course we feel depressed because of the loss. I felt disappointed and the thing is I don't understand the cause for the loss. It feels like it is so unfair, for no matter how careful I am to keep the baby but circumstances happen that are out of my control and miscarried it.

Bubbles0005 - October 7

I am depressed as of the moment because I have Asherman's Syndrome and have to undergo surgery so as to have a full term pregnancy. We all have our own struggles but I'm glad we still managed to keep ourselves whole and hold on to the dream of having a healthy baby.

jackie_ruiz - October 18

Just had a miscarriage last month but I'm not really depressed, I'm just guilty why it happened. I want to recover from it but just can't force myself.

MOELA - October 19

JACKIE_RUIZ- THAT IS FINE TO FEEL GUILTY BUT DON'T BLAME YOURSELF TOO MUCH. TRY TO READ SOME ARTICLES OR TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT WHY IT HAPPENED BECAUSE YOU MAY BE ENLIGHTENED THAT SUCH THING IS NOT REALLY WITHIN YOUR CONTROL. IT WOULD REALLY HELP A LOT.
