Miscarriage - Tayside and Fife

Hi there. For all those of you who have suffered miscarriage, I\'m sorry for your losses. I'm a journalist at the Evening Telegraph in Dundee. I\'m looking to speak to some of you in the area - Tayside/Fife/Angus/Dundee, on your experiences. I want to follow up a report that revealed 1400 women who miscarried at home after a hospital scan in the past decade, were not offered adequate pain relief. The report also complains of poor information offered by healthcare staff and of little aftercare/support. If some of you could get in contact I would be most grateful. Please contact me. Thanks

I now live in England but i lived in Edinburgh for eight years

I have had one miscarriage, at 5 months and a still birth at 4 days over full term. My time and experiences at Edinburgh hospital (the 'new top of the range' one) in both 2006 and 2009 were stunningly awful. Both of these pregnancies meant i had to deliver and treatment offered, in terms of not only pain relief and support but basic medical care were horrendous.
