Your question Imhere is answered by SusanRenz above. To add to the benefit, mother who exercise are less likely to develop birth defects.

Exercising is generally beneficial to all but over exercising would also give some risks especially to pregnant women who only needs light exercises for limited benefits too.

Xpressbaby - December 18

That's right and for pregnant women only aerobic type exercises are advisable to avoid injuries or worse pregnancy loss.

Aerobic type exercises are bouncy right? Don't you think it is dangerous?

Xpressbaby - December 18

To give you examples of applicable aerobics are walking, slight running, and stationary cycling.

yeah exercising should be limited once pregnant but it should not be totally abolished for it has certain benefits especially during labor.

Ok, thanks Xpressbaby. I was thinking of the jumping2x exercising because those are the common aerobics.
