the trauma

Most women I know are being traumatized by the experience. We can't blame then but even if they have that trauma deep inside them they are still having the desire to have a baby. Share ways on how to overcome the trauma.

It is really a trauma for most parents. The term trauma means we are not willing or it is hard to do it again but for this kind of trauma it is not over. Parents will still try to have another baby and this time do all that is possible to succeed.

I was not exactly traumatized by my miscarriage. It was just a learning experience for me. At least I know my limitations when I am pregnant.

Yeah, maybe a trauma of the feeling of the loss and of not being very careful but not the trauma of having a baby again.

Naomi- a learning experience is a good description for it. I just want to ask on the "limitations", what did you mean by that?

bambi-good point you have there but how you stated it is a little confusing. hehe... What I understood is we are traumatized by the feeling of being hurt for the loss but not of being pregnant again. Am I right?

hi Marnie,

What I meant about limitations is the way mothers should handle the pregnancy. There things that we normally do when we are not pregnant that we can't anymore do when we are pregnant. Say for example, we have to limit ourselves from certain food that might be harmful to our baby, like coffee or softdrinks. These are just the shallow part of the limitations but there are others that the doctor would really require us to limit. Hope I answered your question...:)

I definitely learned from my experience and I am happy that I was able to overcome depression. I can't really say that I was traumatized by the experience but I admit it was really hard. We just have to believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Naomi- Yeah, I think I got your point there. Thanks.

saturn- I'm also happy to hear that from you. These are just tests that we need to overcome. Surely there is a light at the end of the tunnel~ winks.
