Stinging/Burning during intercourse - NO DIAGNOSIS!
TillyMint - January 12

I'm 18 and I have been with my partner for the past year, I have not been with anyone else since and neither has he - and we have both been STD checked and clear. Since July, everytime I have had sex I have had a raw burning /stinging feeling, and we have tried everything but nothing helps - different positions, lube, leaving sex and seeing if it gets better, i have had about 7/8 doctors/hospital appointments since, xrays on my womb/ovaries, numerous exams and not one person has been able to give me a definite answer - I had the implant put in in July and thought its my bodies way of saying it doesn't agree but the doctor doesn't seem to think so! I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same pain or has done, the doctors said there is nothing apparent there so I should try pyscho sex counseling but I'm convinced it's a skin condition because when my boyfriend looked the skin was raw and quite lumpy. I am asking because I'm at the end of the line with it, it's making my self esteem really low and massively decreasing my sex drive and I feel I am ruining sex for me and my partner - he doesn't think that way but I want to be able to give him it and feel no discomfort. Thank you for anyone's help in advance.

sometime even if symptoms are showing, it would take 6 months to 1 year before it can be diagnosed. visit a specialist.
