i stumbled across this post during a search. For the last ermmmmm 8 months i have been doubling up my birth control tablets due to me not wanting a period. I have a long medical history/back story..... i was adopted at birth and know that my birth family were never exactly small and through a research program done at Cambridge uni (over 10,000 people were involved) I was made aware i was in the minority (of only 0.1% that showed a gene which they now call the fat gene) who had the fat gene. At 21 yeas old I was nearly 19 stone(266 pounds or 120 kilograms). However i had weight loss surgery 4 years ago (21 years old) and lost nearly 11 stone in 3 years (without working out all the time or dieting).. but in the last 8 months I've gained nearly two stone and dont understand. i lived in Madrid for a year (moved back March 31 st 2016) and never cooked and drank at least 2 bottles of wine a night (walked 6 miles a day) and never put on weight in fact i dropped weight? WHAT IS HAPPENING? i I never want to be back to the weight and in the last 4 years I've not been super healthy or fit but how can I gain that much weight so quickly. Is it due to me doubling up on my birth control pill??
I am so sorry as I know I have rambled on... but ive just needed to say all of this xxx
