i'm not too sure about my question. I usually don't talk about my age but okay. I'm 52 and I'm suddenly unable to sleep at night. I'm up for hours!! My period's become irregular. Is this menopause, what do you think?

A menopausal friend of mine went through HRT, hormone replacement therapy, for a short time to get her body back on track. You might want to talk about that with your doctor. I've heard it's common treatment for menopause. And yes, sleep problems are known to be related with menopause so it could be that.

Hi there carol-anne-1975. Thanks for the input. I don't like taking drugs and all that. I'm usually a very "natural way" kind of person and I'm looking into alternative treatments for this sort of thing. Do you know any? I'm doing some breathing exercises and it does help me a little but my body's just out of whack. Tsk Tsk.
