What is the use of public organizations?

Madlen - March 25

First of all, I'd like to say, that I'm totally happy - as finally the clinic has found a SM for us and in two weeks my husband is going there for the pick-up.
But here I'm going to talk on different topic. Before we found the clinic we had to find out tonns of information. I was spending weeks on the Internet. We just couldn't waste time and money - we wanted the ideal option. But all the websites seemed to be perfect, I mean, all the clinics or agencies - the feedback on every of them was too good to be true. We wanted some REAL feedback - so I started reading forums and blogs. We wanted to find a SM ourselves, but had no idea what should we do next. And occasionally I encountered one public organization that works in the field of IVF, egg donation and surrogacy. As soon as the advice there is free I dropped them a line. After few letters we found the ideal option and I'm happy. I was telling about this organization everywhere - I wanted the whole world to know about them And one of my forum-friends also applied there. But after all she was so disappointed - they couldn't find anything for her - the low price option was too far from home, not so distant one was too expensive for her. She receiver about 15 emails from them and nothing worked for her.
So my question is - has anyone used the services of non-profit public organization? Were you successful? Should I continue to recommend mine or should I stop doing this?
